Waterloo Region’s first residential cancer hospice, Lisaard House, provides care free of charge for individuals facing a limited life expectancy.
Lisaard House is committed to helping people dying of cancer to live the life remaining to them as fully as possible and easing the challenges facing their loved ones.
Innisfree House, Waterloo Regions second residential hospice, is now open! Innisfree House is operated by the Lisaard House Charity, managed by the same administrative/management team and board of directors.
Innisfree House is committed to offering the same excellence in hospice palliative care, at no charge, that Lisaard's reputation is built on and is open to people facing any end-of-life disease.
Hike For Hospice 2016
Is it too soon to start thinking about the annual Lisaard/Innisfree Hike for Hospice? We don't think so. Please mark your calendars for Saturday, May 28th, 2016 and stay tuned for more information coming in the new year!
A Big Thank You to Peter Etril Snyder!
Local, talented artist, Peter Etril Snyder, donated 30 of his paintings to be hung at Innisfree House. These beautiful works of art are displayed as a gallery wall for visitors and residents to enjoy. Many thanks to Peter for sharing his incredible talent with us.
